Spring has been a big season for Shopify merchants — and for the H1 Dynamic Store Locator App. Between Shopify rolling out native B2B features to every plan level, and the growing demand for tools that keep store locators accurate and easy to manage, we've been busy shipping updates that matter.
Here's a look at what's new.
Auto-Hide Inactive Retailers
One of the most common pain points we hear from merchants is stale data. A retailer stops carrying your product, but their pin stays on your map — sending customers to a location that no longer stocks what they're looking for. That's a bad experience for everyone.
With our new Auto-Hide Inactive Retailers feature, the Dynamic Store Locator can now automatically hide any retailer that hasn't placed an order through Shopify B2B or Faire in the last six months. No manual cleanup. No spreadsheet audits. Your map stays current because it's tied directly to your real wholesale activity.
This is a setting you can toggle on or off at any time, so you stay in full control. Turn it on if you want a hands-off approach to map accuracy, or leave it off if you prefer to manage visibility manually.

Why it matters: A store locator is only as useful as the data behind it. Inactive retailers create dead ends for customers and erode trust in your brand's retail presence. Auto-hiding solves that problem at the source.
Toggle Off Google Business Verification
By default, the Dynamic Store Locator verifies retailer addresses against Google Business Profiles before displaying them on your map. This is a great quality check — it confirms that the retailer has a verified, commercial brick-and-mortar location that users can visit. The purpose of building in this feature was to ensure retailers who may have your products shipped to their home or a warehouse don’t find their home address listed on your store locator map.
But, this may not work for some app users. For starters, not every retailer has a Google Business Profile set up. Or, merchants may prefer to manually hide locations and prefer to sync all of their retailers regardless of verification status.
Now you can. We've added a setting that lets you turn off Google Business Verification entirely. When disabled, every retailer synced from Shopify B2B or Faire will appear on your store locator map without needing a verified Google Business Profile.

Why it matters: If your priority is showing every retail partner on your map, this gives you the flexibility to do that without any retailers falling through the cracks.
New Major Retail Chain Category: Auto Parts
We've expanded our Major Retailers section (available on Business Plus plans) with a brand-new Auto Parts category. If your products are sold through national auto parts chains, your store locator can now include these stores automatically:
- O'Reilly Auto Parts
- AutoZone
- Advance Auto Parts
- NAPA Auto Parts
- Parts Authority
For brands in the automotive, detailing, accessories, or maintenance space, this means customers searching your store locator can instantly see which major auto parts chains carry your products — no manual data entry required.
Why it matters: National retail chains are a huge credibility signal for consumers. Displaying them on your store locator map reinforces that your products are widely available and trusted by major retailers.
A Bigger Opportunity: Shopify B2B Is Now Available on All Plans
On April 2, 2026, Shopify expanded its native B2B features to every paid plan — Basic, Grow, and Advanced — at no additional cost. Previously, Shopify B2B was exclusive to Shopify Plus. That means millions of Shopify merchants who previously couldn't use native B2B features like company profiles, wholesale catalogs, and payment terms now have access to them.
What this means for the Dynamic Store Locator: Our app's Shopify B2B integration — which syncs your wholesale customers directly to your store locator map — is now accessible to a much wider audience. If you're on a Basic, Grow, or Advanced Shopify plan and you've started using Shopify B2B to manage wholesale accounts, the Dynamic Store Locator can pull those retailers onto your map automatically. Pair that with our new auto-hide feature, and your map stays accurate as retailer relationships come and go.
If you've been managing your wholesale operations through spreadsheets or manual processes, there's never been a better time to streamline. Shopify B2B handles the wholesale relationship, and the Dynamic Store Locator handles the customer-facing side — showing shoppers exactly where to find your products in store.

Frequently Asked Questions
What does the Auto-Hide Inactive Retailers feature do? Auto-Hide Inactive Retailers automatically hides retailers from your store locator map if they haven't placed an order through Shopify B2B or Faire in the last six months. It's a setting you can enable or disable at any time in your app settings, but it only works if you have the data sync set to MANUAL.
Will auto-hide delete my retailer data? No. Hidden retailers are not deleted — they're simply removed from the map display. If a retailer places a new order, they'll automatically reappear on your map.
What happens when I turn off Google Business Verification? When Google Business Verification is disabled, all retailers synced from Shopify B2B or Faire will display on your store locator map without their address being verified against a Google Business Profile first.
Which auto parts chains are included in the new Major Retail Chains category? The new Auto Parts category includes O'Reilly Auto Parts, AutoZone, Advance Auto Parts, NAPA Auto Parts, and Parts Authority.
Do I need Shopify Plus to use the Dynamic Store Locator's B2B integration? No. As of April 2, 2026, Shopify's native B2B features are available on all paid Shopify plans, including Basic, Grow, and Advanced. If you're using Shopify B2B on any plan, the Dynamic Store Locator can sync your wholesale retailers to your map. Please note, you must be on the Business Plus Dynamic Store Locator plan to have access to Shopify B2B.
Does the Dynamic Store Locator work with Faire? Yes. The app integrates directly with Faire to sync your wholesale marketplace retailers to your store locator. Combined with the new auto-hide feature, retailers who stop ordering through Faire can be automatically hidden from your map.
